Barrier game

Today we had Mrs Minehan and we played a game called barrier how to play the game is easy you have a grid and pictures, you put the computers lids right next to each other and one person has a picture of were everything is. The other player has to listen closely and put the little pictures in the same spot as the other players picture of the grid. have you ever played before?.

The magic show

  


 El Gregoe came to our school and showed us magic. My favourite trick that he showed us was making this parrot in the picture come out of thin air. there were other parrots as well, there was a painting with a white bird and it came out of painting. He taught us about bullying and being nice, but the magic was the best. There were poems of respect and caring. I loved the birds the most. There was a red parrot and a red and grey parrot, the grey one copied what El Gregoe said. What is your favourite magic trick?.

Pick a path story

The class and I made a pick a path story in the google drawings and I thought i'd make a fake monster one. The black pieces are the start & finish, the red ones are the bad ones and the green ones are the good ones. as you can see I finished mine but now I Have to put it on a google form. the thing I liked about it was that I could make my own little story and I got addicted to it. The thing that I didn't like about it was it took along time for me to think of something

Lego land.

 

Today we did cybersmart with Kotuku because the teacher made us. For cybersmart we went on our computers and made a slide got a bubble and took a photo of whoever people were with, and you ask were they really want to go, I was with Lucas and he said he wanted to go to Lego land so that was are background. When you take the picture of your buddy you get the picture in the slide and put them somewhere on the bubble. Then you make an animation like mine and everyone else's. Lucas taught me how to draw on a ipad as he was recording his story.

Bruce Mclaren

I have created a story map from the reading tasks on the learning site all of my class has to do it, its about Bruce Mclaren. he raced for his father once, when he was 15 years old. later on in his life he was able to go in his own races. I created it because it was a reading task that the class had to do. I learnt that most super cars came from Bruce and his father in the 1953-1970.

Creppy people

I have created a animation that starts as bear and turns into 2 people and then a skeleton. I created it because we had to do a cybersmart animation from my amazing teacher. I'm proud of it because It was hard to find the people I used. turning it into a animation it took a long time to decide if I was gonna use the skeleton. I thought it was fun as well because we could make anything into something else for example a fox turns into a bear. I also learnt on how to animate and transform things.

My pepeha

   This is what me and the class had to do we made our pepeha and added one of the pictures that came from our road or town I used this one because it was the only interesting one.

St Johns 2020

Today at school we learned on how we can help people in hyperthermia and hypothermia. We also learned if someone is unconscious we put them on there side. When someone is in hyperthermia at the start of hyperthermia is they will start shivering and they can't do anything about it. hyperthermia is cold and hypothermia is hot.               

My memorial.

Ths is a memorial of the people that fought in world war 1.  All the names on this memorial were the people that lived in the area of Woodstock at the time of the war. This memorial was built around the year 2000.

Quarintine life at the pub.

In quarintine we have me and my family I think there is 20 people here its inclueding us. there is me, Mum, Dad, Jake,Rhiannon and claire. 7 off of 20 is 13 and they are from diffrent countries France, Germany, Canada, Japan and Spain. We have made 4 diffrent types of cookies we made double chocolate cookies, anzac cookies and 2 others I have no idea on what those 2 were. we all like playing the games we brought down but my most favorite game is shadows of brimstone. I have played uno, fluxx, vikings gone wild and other games. and 2 people made a lolly guitar.

writing about a troll

for writing the class had to carry on with a sentence about a troll. it helps us with are writing because we use adverbs and verbs and adjectives.

Everyone fled as the giant green troll talked a different language. His back was hard as rock and mossy with trees growing. His legs were skinny and green. He had a brown rope around his waist. From the giant green troll’s view he thought they were ants. They kept on fleeing as the giant green troll tried to talk to them again. He tore roof after roof by accident. He tried to speak again but none of the humans understood what he was saying. He started to get puffed. Everyone was hiding, he was as tall as a 5 story building to a human. It was looking for everyone. The humans started to come out; they used sign language. The giant green troll knew what they were saying with their hands and he started to talk back to the tiny ant humans. He wondered if they had food and water so he asked if they had any.

Science road show

The year 5 & 6's went to a science road show the colours were once all purple red cabbage juice. The person is talking about how he mixed these things and how they changed different colours. has anyone tried this before?.

super world travel

Yesterday the class and I were learning about healthy food and not healthy food. Once we finished we went to supermarket, New World. We were gave a sheet one side was healthy food and the other was unhealthy food. We started at the bars section then we went to snacks and I sore candyfloss so I put in the unhealthy food and it had 100g of sugar and for my healthy food I used almonds. Once I finished we went back to school.

Story map

The teacher gave the class a story map and we read the Arnie Armadillo page she gave us. We made a story in pieces we started from top to bottom except the one on the far right that is the last one.

Polyline

     

To make my face I had to get a photo of my face. Then I had to get it out of my email and then Polyline it. Once I had done it I made the colour transparent on my face and this is the way it came out.
