Yesterday the class and I were learning about healthy food and not healthy food. Once we finished we went to supermarket, New World. We were gave a sheet one side was healthy food and the other was unhealthy food. We started at the bars section then we went to snacks and I sore candyfloss so I put in the unhealthy food and it had 100g of sugar and for my healthy food I used almonds. Once I finished we went back to school.
Kia ora Oscar,
ReplyDeleteWell done on writing such a well thought out, detailed blog post about your trip to the grocery store! It definitely sounds like you learnt a lot from this trip, and it is great to hear how enthusiastic and involved you were during this outing.
You mentioned how on one side of paper you wrote down healthy food, and on the other side of the paper you wrote down unhealthy food.
How can you tell whether a food is healthy or not?
You also mentioned how you used almonds for your healthy food. Are there any cool facts about almonds that you learnt from your trip?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
Healthy snacks are always great to have on hand so you have something ready to snack on when the hunger pangs kick in. Some of my favourite healthy snacks include veggie sticks and hummus, frozen fruit and coconut yoghurt, homemade banana bread, and fresh fruits like watermelon and pineapple!
What are your go-to healthy snacks?
Keep up the great work!
