The Time Capsule

We have been learning about what Time Capsules are. We are also making our own. We are planning for these to be found in 50 years or more maybe less though a long time from 2021. We are hoping that by putting in our emails and names in if they do get found they might be able to find us. Also halfway through this writing, we got Minecraft on our computers and we only use it for math subjects.

This is my writing it is pretty far away from the camera though it was the clearest picture. At the start of this, we all watched a video about Time Capsules and started to write it down on our Chromebooks and then onto paper. Would you ever make a Time Capsule to remind you of your past?

E.Book

 This week we did some some narrative writing.  I wrote a story and we made it into an E.book and to start it we went on a site that had multiple pictures called Pobble 365. we chose one for us to use in our story. I started off with 3 slides but I got engrossed in what I was writing and ended up with 6 slides.  Have you ever done this? 

Pick a path story

The class and I made a pick a path story in the google drawings and I thought i'd make a fake monster one. The black pieces are the start & finish, the red ones are the bad ones and the green ones are the good ones. as you can see I finished mine but now I Have to put it on a google form. the thing I liked about it was that I could make my own little story and I got addicted to it. The thing that I didn't like about it was it took along time for me to think of something

writing about a troll

for writing the class had to carry on with a sentence about a troll. it helps us with are writing because we use adverbs and verbs and adjectives.

Everyone fled as the giant green troll talked a different language. His back was hard as rock and mossy with trees growing. His legs were skinny and green. He had a brown rope around his waist. From the giant green troll’s view he thought they were ants. They kept on fleeing as the giant green troll tried to talk to them again. He tore roof after roof by accident. He tried to speak again but none of the humans understood what he was saying. He started to get puffed. Everyone was hiding, he was as tall as a 5 story building to a human. It was looking for everyone. The humans started to come out; they used sign language. The giant green troll knew what they were saying with their hands and he started to talk back to the tiny ant humans. He wondered if they had food and water so he asked if they had any.

Story map

The teacher gave the class a story map and we read the Arnie Armadillo page she gave us. We made a story in pieces we started from top to bottom except the one on the far right that is the last one.

To make my face I had to get a photo of my face. Then I had to get it out of my email and then Polyline it. Once I had done it I made the colour transparent on my face and this is the way it came out.

Park haiku

This is a haiku poem that I made.Two of the lines had to have 5 syllables and 1 had to have 7 syllables.We had to make a picture.The pictures had to match what are poems said like this one.

Red Colour Poem

 We had to start by naming things that was the colour that we chose. We could choose what colour we want and I chose red. After we chose our things that had the colour that we chose we had to turn it into a jpeg after that we had to choose to do wevideo or animoto. I chose to do wevideo. We had to upload the pictures and make a movie out of them.

Term 2 reflection

I like p.e because some games teach you how to kick,throw and catch. I enjoy it because it is fun to learn to throw and catch my next step is kicking. I am good at drawing because I can draw lots of things like dragons, monsters, trees and rainbows I draw a lot of it in my own time.  I need to work on reading because sometimes I get muddled up and don't know what some words. My favourite is art because we made a clown and then you colour it in with melted crayons. I enjoy it because you get to choose what colour you want it to be. The colours I used were orange, dark blue, dark red, yellow, white and blue. I didn't like math because it was hard because we had to do fractions we also had to tell the fractions.

What I Didn't Do in the Holidays

I didn't  talk to people and I ignored the people that were talking to me when I was writing.
