Story map

The teacher gave the class a story map and we read the Arnie Armadillo page she gave us. We made a story in pieces we started from top to bottom except the one on the far right that is the last one.

  1. Kia ora Oscar,
My name is Kieryn and I will be working with Kaniere School to comment on your blog posts over the next two terms.
Well done on writing such a fantastic story about Arnie Armadillo! I am impressed by the way you have managed to write such a well planned, enticing story from a story map, and appreciate how you have also included the images from the story map in your post.
How did you come up with the idea of having an Armadillo as your main character?
Armadillo’s are such fantastic animals who have natural armor covering their bodies. This armor protects them from predators such as dogs.
Imagine if you were an armadillo; do you think that the armor would feel heavy or light? Why/why not?
I really like how your story has a beginning, middle and ending, and think that it is awesome how he managed to find his family at the end of the story.
You mentioned at the beginning of your story how Arnie was eating snacks. What kind of snacks was he eating?
    Keep up the great work!
    Nga mihi
