Today we all made paper helicopters and did tests and races to see who's one was better. For yours to be the better one would have to stay up in the air the longest. We kept on doing that to each other and friends. It was cool to have them flying around because they sometimes landed on peoples heads. Have you ever tried to make one?. This is how to make one.

With some strips of paper and a few paper clips, you can create a mini papercopter that spins like a real helicopter.

What You'll Need:

  • Strips of heavy paper or cardboard (1X10 inches)
  • Small paper clips
  • Markers or crayons

How to Make Papercopter:

Step 1: Fold a 1X10-inch strip of paper in half. Fold the ends down about two inches, but don't fold them straight down. Instead, fold them at a slight angle.

Place a paper clip on the bottom of your folded papercopter.
Place a paper clip on the bottom of your folded papercopter.

Step 2: Push a paper clip onto the bottom, and fold the wings out. Decorate your papercopter with markers or crayons. Holding your papercopter by the paper clip, throw it into the air and watch it spin.

This week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, we had Mr Kinane and he told us about micro-bits and how to make an electric gate and using micro bits to open and close the electric gate. My favourite thing was how he taught us to make a paper scissors rock game with the micro bits and our chrome books. I had  a group of three with my friends when making the electric gate and we still couldn't figure out how to work it. The site that we used was makecode.microbit.org.

This is a collage that I made using a tool called explore. What I tried to make was a roman castle. To make it I  used roman walls and archer towers. I used explore for the whole collage and a crop tool. it took a while for me to make it. The thing that i'm most proud of is the archer towers. Have you ever made a collage before?.

The other player has to listen closely and put the little pictures in the same spot as the other players picture of the grid. have you ever played before?.

The magic show

El Gregoe came to our school and showed us magic. My favourite trick that he showed us was making this parrot in the picture come out of thin air. there were other parrots as well, there was a painting with a white bird and it came out of painting. He taught us about bullying and being nice, but the magic was the best. There were poems of respect and caring. I loved the birds the most. There was a red parrot and a red and grey parrot, the grey one copied what El Gregoe said. What is your favourite magic trick?.

Pick a path story

The class and I made a pick a path story in the google drawings and I thought i'd make a fake monster one. The black pieces are the start & finish, the red ones are the bad ones and the green ones are the good ones. as you can see I finished mine but now I Have to put it on a google form. the thing I liked about it was that I could make my own little story and I got addicted to it. The thing that I didn't like about it was it took along time for me to think of something

Lego land.

Today we did cybersmart with Kotuku because the teacher made us. For cybersmart we went on our computers and made a slide got a bubble and took a photo of whoever people were with, and you ask were they really want to go, I was with Lucas and he said he wanted to go to Lego land so that was are background. When you take the picture of your buddy you get the picture in the slide and put them somewhere on the bubble. Then you make an animation like mine and everyone else's. Lucas taught me how to draw on a ipad as he was recording his story.
