Bruce Mclaren
I have created a story map from the reading tasks on the learning site all of my class has to do it, its about Bruce Mclaren. he raced for his father once, when he was 15 years old. later on in his life he was able to go in his own races. I created it because it was a reading task that the class had to do. I learnt that most super cars came from Bruce and his father in the 1953-1970.

You have managed to include some awesome information about the life of Bruce, and I really appreciate all of the drawings you have made to accompany your post!
By the sounds of it, Bruce Mclaren had a bit of a rough start to his life after being sent to a place for sick children because of Perthes disease. I have never heard of this particular disease before, and was hoping you may be able to share a little bit more information about this.
What exactly is Perthes disease?
Is it a life-long disease, or does it go away?
How did it give Bruce Mclaren a limp?

You mentioned in your post how Bruce was test driving some cars and ended up crashing at 60mph.
Was Bruce alright after this accident?
